Early Georgian era, Rock Crystal snake brooch, closed back with colored foil ranging from pink to green. 

Approximately 1.7in wide by 1in tall and 0.35in thick (excluding pin feature). Tests as rock crystal (quartz). Set in silver. Weight is 10.40 grams.
