Late Georgian, 18k gold and black enamel mourning ring. Exterior of ring states “sacred to the memory of” in scrolling black enamel. Very clear interior inscription reads “Cath Stewart who died 29 Feb 1828”.

Approx. size 8 on a mandrel but fits more like a 7 due to the width of the band. Full hallmarks including 18k mark. 10mm wide and 5.78g.
