Reserved Pearl Pendant

Early Georgian era silver, closed back heart pendant with an 18kt yellow gold bale(converted from brooch).

The outer row of 32 squarish OM paste stones are cut down prong set, the inner row of 23 OEC round paste stones are set in 10 cut down prong tubes. The center, 23.5 x 17.75mm, baroque pearlor mother of pearl blister is set in a continuous fitted bezel of cut down prongs. The pearl material is a cream color with good luster and moderate orient. At the top of the pendant is a bouquet of 6 colorless, pink foil backed, paste marquise gems.

Measures 30.98mm wide x 46.94mm in height plus the bale. Weight is 16.72 grams.
