Vintage, 22k gold coin pendant made by adding a fixed bale to a Brazilian 6400 reis gold coin from 1800, featuring the portrait of Maria I, Queen of Portugal and Brazil with the Royal Coat of Arms on the Back. This coin was minted for use in Brazil.

Measures 2” including bale by 1.25”. The “R” visible to the right of the 1800 date indicates it was struck at the Rio de Janeiro mint and increases the value of the coin. Weight is 13.85 grams.
