Chrysoberyl Cabochon Ring

Early Victorian era, 18kt vellow gold ring with central cats eye chrysoberyl, with beautifully detailed back and shank. 

Size 8.25, re-size ok. Measures 8.95mm wide at the top, shank has split, ornate shoulders. 2.0 to 1.65mm tapered shank. The stone is set in a low bezel with a closed cup back, grooved on the outside. Chrysoberyl measures app 11.13 x app 8.58mm with a depth estimated as 5.15mm. Weight est 3.55ct. Weight is 2.16 grams.
