Italian Pearl Ring

Antique, Italian circa 1800 freshwater pearl ring made of 18kt vellow gold. 4.62 pennyweight, size app 7, re-size ok.

16.3mm wide across the top, fancy shoulders measure 635mm wide and taper to 2.92mm at the shank's base. All the pearls are wired in place and move around slightly. This is the way the ring was designed, not a problem from wear. The center pearl is 6.69x6.2mm, The surrounding 6 pearls are app 6 x 5mm down to 5.2 x 3.4mm and are oval in their basic shapes.

The all have good luster, whitish similar coloration, and go well with the leaf and flower designs in the gold surrounding them.
